Privacy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
ESL Day, operated by Chuan Yu Chen (Justin Chen), uses personal information to provide accounts, saved teaching work, support and subscriptions.
Information and service providers
Clerk handles sign-up, login and password recovery and stores identity and account information. Cloudflare Workers hosts the app; Cloudflare D1 stores account identifiers, saved workspace and lesson data, requests, and Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan and status. Members open lessons as view-only Google Slides hosted in Google Drive. When you open a lesson, Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of Google Slides. Stripe processes payments, subscriptions and the Customer Portal. ESL Day does not see full card numbers. These providers process information to provide their services, including security and operational records.
Clerk uses cookies for authentication and sessions. We use saved data to provide your workspace. We do not currently use a separate analytics service in the app.
Retention and your choices
We keep support emails to answer requests. We keep data while needed to provide the service, handle requests, meet legal or accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. Some records may need to be retained after account deletion; otherwise they are deleted when no longer needed. You may request access, correction or deletion through Your data or by contacting us. We will review requests subject to applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
The service is intended for teachers, not children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information. For privacy questions, contact support@eslday.com.
